Old Corundum Millsite Campground has been family owned and operated for three generations. We are located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina on the Cullasaja River at the base of the Cullasaja Gorge between Franklin and Highlands at the historic site of the old Corundum Mill.

We are open from April through October and offer tent, pop-up, trailer and RV sites on a daily, weekly, monthly or seasonal basis. Tent sites include water and electricity. All other sites are full hook-up including 30 amp electricity, water, sewer and TV. The laundry is centrally located between our clean bathhouse. A small playground is located in the center of the park near the laundry/bathhouse.

Our pavilion, called "City Hall", is always available for social events and activities including covered dish dinners, bingo, cards, dominoes, puzzles and Sunday morning church service. We celebrate July 4th with our annual parade and picnic. Our other holiday activities include picnics for Memorial Day and Labor Day, and even though we close the end of October, we have and early Thanksgiving Dinner and Christmas Party.

We have a basketball goal to shoot hoops near the office/store. Our store offers an array of camping/trailer supplies along with ice cream, soft drinks and snacks.

The gem of Old Corundum Millsite Campground is the river, where you can fish, swim, tube, sunbathe, or just relax and listen to its soothing sounds.
